The Ionia Boys Track and Field Team competed in the MHSAA Region 15 Meet at Mason High School on Friday May 17, 2024.  As a team the Ionia Boys finished 10th out of 15 Teams.

  Individually the Boys Qualified Jacob Montgomery for the MHSAA D2 State Track and Field Meet to be held at Hamilton High School on Saturday June 1, 2024.  Jacob Finished 2nd in the 800M Run (1:57.26) allowing him to return to the State Meet in the same event he competed in in 2023.  The Boys had 8 PR’s and received all Region Recognition by earning medals in 5 events (top 8).      The Bulldogs are next in action on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at Eaton Rapids for the CAAC White Championship meet. The season is winding down with a total of 3 Meets remaining for a select few of the Ionia Team, including the CAAC Championship Meet, The Greater Lansing Area Meet of Champions (5/28) and the MHSAA State Meet (6/1).
