The Ionia Boys racked up 47 PR's in route to their victory over Charlotte.  This win brings Ionia to a 4-1 Overall Dual Meet Record and a CAAC White Division Conference record of 4-0.  Ionia is next in action at the Bluejay Invitational in Shepherd on Friday.  Their next League Dual Meet is next Tuesday May 11th at Eaton Rapids.  This will be the final League Dual for the season.  Field Events will begin at 4:30pm.

     Ionia finished 1st in 10 of 17 Events.  Travis Tucker won the 100 Meter dash in 11.76, Lukas Schafer finished first in the 400 at 53.92, Josiah Magley won both the 800 (2:03.55) and the 1600 (4:51.35), Brandon Grant won both the shot put (38'-10") and the Discus (119'-03"). Kullan Granger finished first in the Long Jump at 17'-2", Ethan Canfield and John Odette tied for first in the high Jump at 5'-8".  Also finishing first were the 4 x 400 Relay of Heath LaPointe, Lukas Schafer, John Odette, and Josiah Magley in a time of 3:42.76 , and the 4 x 800 relay of Lukas Schafer, Jacob Montgomery, Riley Husted, and Heath LaPointe, in a time of 10:31.03.
