The boys finished 4th against a strong field of Division 1 and Division 2 schools on Friday 4/30/2021.

Team scores for the Boys side were as follows: East Lansing 186.25, Battle Creek Lakeview 117.08, Corunna 92.33, Ionia 81.25, Tecumseh 69.75, Charlotte 54, Lansing Waverly 45.33, Springport 13.

The bulldogs racked up 11 PR's on their way to the 4th place showing. Some highlights of the night included a pair of Discus PR's for two Freshmen; Seth Wandel 104'-1" and Max Fletcher 98'-11" finishing 5th and 7th respectively in the meet behind a 2nd place throw for Brandon Grant at 109'-5"  In the 110 Hurdles, Clay Currigan finished 3rd with a PR at 16.45 seconds.Freshmen Sprinter Travis Tucker had a big night finishing 5th in the 100 Meter Dash with a PR of 11.50.  The Distance family also had a couple PR's; Jacob Montgomery 6th in the 1600 at 4:57.09 and Josiah Magley won the 3200 at 9:56.73.

The bulldogs next compete in CAAC White Action at home on Tuesday, May 4th with Field Events starting at 4:30.  Ionia will host a Triple Dual with head to head scoring against Portland, Lansing Sexton, and Charlotte.  The current boys Dual Meet record is 1-1 overall and 1-0 in CAAC action.  For complete details for the Invitational in Charlotte, please visit athletic.net
