Ionia Middle School wrestlers traveled to Lake Odessa Tuesday evening. Haslett beat Ionia in the opener 27-18, then Ionia lost to Eaton Rapids in a close 36-33 match.
Winning two matches for ionia was Gabe Rogers. Other wrestlers winning a match were Morgan Rogers, Ben Glick, Chad Campbell, Bryce Hoppes, Trent Dingman, Tattianna Castillo,Wesley Eaton, Dakota Roth and Sadie Roberts.
Ionia will wrestle next Tuesday traveling to Waverly.Wrestling starts at 4;30.
