Middle School Wrestling Splits with Lakewood and Mason

The Ionia Middle School wrestling team went 1 and 1 Thursday evening in their first home double dual of the season. Ionia fell to Lakewood 51-21 and then beat Mason 37-36 in the second dual.
Collect wins for Ionia on the night were Brock Shattuck, Christian Lopez, Ashley Glespie, Trent Dingman, Chad Campbell, Levi Barker, Jack Gardner, Landon Steffen, Bryce Hoppes, Dakota Gale, and Dalton Lewis.
Ionia's next match will be on Tuesday at Lakewood Middle School with a 4:30 pm start.
