CHARLOTTE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 37
The 7th grade Lady Dawgs lost to Charlotte on Wednesday 37-11 on the Orioles home court. Ionia was led in scoring by Ash Ellsworth 6 points and Ava Benedict 5 points. Olivia Lemke grabbed 7 rebounds and had 4 steals. Ava Bowen chipped in with 4 steals and 2 assists, while Benedict added 6 steals. Ionia will play again next Wednesday when they travel to St Johns for a 4:30 contest.
