Tonight was Ionia A Team's season opener against the Portland Raiders. The girls played hard, but struggled to get shots to drop. Ionia lost 25-49. Avery Hoppough led the Bulldogs with 13 points. Logan Thomas had 8 points, Emma Hoppough had 3 points, and Kennedi McDiarmid added 1 point. The Bulldogs will travel to St. Johns on Wednesday.
