Ionia traveled to Haslett and came away with a hard-fought win. It was a low-scoring game in the first half but Ionia managed to take a 6-5 lead. In the third quarter, Haslett tied it up at 13 apiece. In the fourth with some aggressive defense, the Bulldogs were able to grab the lead and win 22-17. Leading scorers were Kennedy Batista with 8 points, Madie Lemke and Camryn Robinson with 5 each, Olivia Lemke and Mariah Berry chipped in 2 each. The Bulldogs ended the regular season with a 2-2 record. They will play a tournament (2 games) on Monday, Feb. 28 at St. Johns.
