CHARLOTTE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 11
Tonight the Bulldogs traveled to Charlotte for their second game of the season. The 7th and 8th grade B-girls combined their teams and were able to come home with a victory by beating Charlotte 33-11. Ionia was able to take a lead in the first quarter, 6-1, and by halftime were up 16-5. They continued playing well together and outscored Charlotte 17-6 in the second half to win their first game. Leading scorers were Emma Patterson with 9 points and Camryn Robinson with 8. Others who contributed were Madie Lemke, Mariya Berry, and Danica White each scoring 4. Bailey Lincoln and Rain Pinnow each chipped in two. The Bulldogs are now 1-1. Their next game is Wednesday at home against DeWitt. They will be playing with the 7th graders that night as well.
