ST. JOHNS MIDDLE SCHOOL: 44
Tonight the Bulldogs hosted St. Johns for their first game of the season. It was a rough start in the first half and they found themselves down 20-4. In the third quarter, the girls came out more aggressively and looked be into the game. They continued to play well in the fourth but St. Johns was too much for them and they lost 44-18. The leading scorers were Camryn Robinson with 9 points, Olivia Lemke with 3 points. Faith Shattuck and Kennedy Batista each scored two while Bailey Lincoln and Gabby Meyers each had 1. Ionia is now 0-1 and their next game is Wednesday, February 2 at home against Holt.
