Girls 8th Grade B Team: Falls to St. Johns 29-23

Tonight the Bulldogs went on the road to take on St. Johns. It was a slow start for both teams. The B Team was sluggish in the first half and fell behind 8-15. Our goal was to start the third quarter with aggressive defense and continue to push the ball on offense. We played better and several times cut into the lead. At the end of the third we were still down, 14-19. The team continued to fight but fell short losing 29-23.

Leading scores were Kalyssa Hanses with 8 points and Allie Lanz with 8 points.

The team in now 1-2. Next game is Monday at Mason.
