Tonight Ionia hosted Grand Ledge. It was a tough night for both Ionia teams.

The B Team started off great in the first quarter and jumped out by 4 points. At the end of the first half the Bulldogs led 10-8. The third quarter was played evenly but things changed in the fourth. Ionia struggled to contain Grand Ledge and they outscored us 13-5. The Bulldogs lost the lead in the fourth and was never able to get it back. Final score was 20-26.

Leading scorers were Kalyssa Hanses with 5 points and Hanna Wheeler with 4 points.

The Bulldogs are now 1-1 and go on the road to face St. Johns on Wednesday.
