Tonight Ionia hosted Eaton Rapids. It was a very good night for the Bulldogs as they defeated Eaton Rapids 31-17. The Bulldogs played tough defense in the first half and limited Eaton Rapids to 6 points. The offense flowed better this game and their defense continued to be aggressive. The Bulldogs played consistently throughout the game as they came away with the victory. The leading scorer was Alexa Barna with 11 points including a 3 pointer to end the game. Other scorers were Grace Droste with 5, Tessa Lemke with 5, Kylie Leonard with 4, Kennedy Batista with 4, and Katie Leonard with 2. The Bulldogs are now 3-3 and their next game is next Wednesday, Feb. 23 at home against Fowlerville.
