Girls Junior Varsity Softball Splits with Charlotte

CHARLOTTE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 11
The Ionia JV Softball Team split with Charlotte on Tuesday, April 30th. The first game they lost 7-15. Ionia had a few hits this game but struggled to get outs. Ava Bucholtz went 1-1 with 2 walks. Kaylee Schmid went 2-4 and Lauryn Schmid went 3-4. Adah Drown pitched both games for the girls. The second game was a great game for Ionia to hit and fight back for a win. There were three girls that went 3-3 with a walk, Lauryn Schmid, Ava Bucholtz, and Kaya Clark. Kaylynn Wizorek went 3-4 and Kaylee Schmid went 4-5. The score of this game was 18-11! The Bulldogs will now play Mason on Thursday, May 2nd at Mason.
