CHARLOTTE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 15
The Ionia Girls Junior Varsity had two tough losses to Charlotte on Tuesday, May 9th. The first game they managed two double plays on the defensive side but struggled to get the bats going. Gabbi Meyers, Ava Bucholtz, Jadine Bigger, and Corina Hall all went 1-2 with a walk. They lost 0-10. The second game proved better on the offensive side as the score was 9-15. Gabbi Meyers, Lauryn Schmid, Ava Bucholtz, Jazmin Cooper, and Kaylee Schmid all went 2-3 during this game. The next game for the girls will be home on Thursday, May 11th vs. Greenville!
