The Ionia Girls JV Softball Team had the opportunity to add two additional wins to their record on Friday, May 7th at Home against the Mason Bulldogs. Ionia defeated Mason 13-8 and 17-12. For the Ionia Bulldog's second game they had Kaidence Thomas who went 2-3 with a walk and Jazmin Cooper who went 1-2 with two walks. Ionia had Victoria Guttierez pitch the first game and had 10 strikeouts. Chloe Witter lead the Bulldogs to the win in the second game. The Girls JV Softball record now stands at 10-9. The next game for Ionia is Tuesday, May 11th against Eaton Rapids at Home.
