WILLIAMSTON HIGH SCHOOL: 13
The Ionia Girls Junior Varsity lost to Williamston High School on Thursday evening at home. The Bulldogs were defeated in both games of the double header. The first game they were mercied, 16-4, but ended up bringing it into a much closer game in the second losing by only two point, 13-11. The Bulldogs had a lot of great hits despite the loss. Victoria Guttierez went 3-4 for with a walk and Londyn Brown went 3-3 with 2 RBI's. Chloe Witter pitched in the second game for the Bulldogs in which they lost in the close one at the end. The Bulldogs record is now 4-7 and they hope to bring home more wins this Saturday April 24th at their home tournament at the Ionia Varsity fields verse Cooperville, Saranac, and Lakewood.
