Girls Junior Varsity Softball loses to Pewamo-Westphalia

PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA HS: 5
The Ionia JV girls softball team lost the double header on Saturday afternoon verse Pewamo-Westphalia. The Bulldogs lost the first game 5-2 and the second game 17-6. The tough losses did come with some positives, Victoria Guttierez pitched the first game and had 11 strikeouts. In the second game, Kaidence Thomas went 4-4 and Kennedee Ward went 2-4 hitting wise. The JV girls team record is now 4-5. The Bulldogs hope to bring in more wins this week on Tuesday verse Portland at home at 4 o'clock.
