ST. JOHNS HIGH SCHOOL: 44
Ionia JV girls defeated St. John’s 46-44 in overtime.
We started out strong but St. John’s was able to close the gap by the second half.
The girls stayed focused and were able to carry out the victory.
Leading Ionia was Emma White with 20 points, followed by Tori Banks with 9. Molly Waterman contributed 6 and Riley Brown had 5.
Ionia hosts Lansing Catholic Central on Friday, January 21st at 4:00pm. Our current record is 5-4.
