Ionia JV girls lost to Hastings 37-38 in a very emotional game.
The girls learned some unfortunate life lessons during the game but brought from it passion, desire and how to play above situations out of their control.
Leading Ionia with 13 points, Emma White, followed by Molly Waterman and Tori Banks with 8. Scoring two points were Tessa Massengal, Mimose Sandborn, Addy Roundtree and Kyra Williams.
The JV girls head to Charlotte Friday, game time 4:00. Our current record is 3-4.
