Girls JV Basketball Strong Effort Comes Up Short 31-38 Against Portland

Ionia JV girls lost a tough game tonight vs Portland 31-38. Ionia gave a strong effort in three second half but couldn't make up the deficit.

Ionia was led in scoring by Josie Phelps with 11, Emma Scoby with 6 and Paige Castillo with 5.

The Bulldogs go to 7-6 on the season, they face Charlotte at home on Thursday February 6 at 5:30.

Thursday February 6th is the JV purple game, it's a great opportunity to have the community come out and see our girls play their hearts out to support a serious cause.
