The JV B Football team had a rough time against a talented Portland team losing 55-6.
Ionia's lone touchdown came in the 2nd quarter with a big run by Tyler Brown. To set up the scoring opportunity which was a touchdown pass from Rowan Spearman to Dawson Leland.
The halftime score was 41-6. The Bulldogs held their own in the second half despite a running clock. A much better half defensively.
Ionia JV B plays Mason at home next Thursday at 4:30
