Ionia Freshman lose to Charlotte

Ionia hosted Charlotte on Monday night and lost a tough one to the visiting Orioles 70-57.

Carter Ralston paced the Bulldogs with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Dawson Leland added 14 points and 11 rebounds. Rounding out the scoring for Ionia was Mason Braman and Mason Clark with 8 points each while Nolan Perry had 3 and Nolan Hart and Kendall Cusack both added 2 points.

Ionia travels to Greenville on Tuesday, the first game of a triple header with the Yellow Jackets. Game time is 4:00.
