Freshman Boys defeat Sexton

The Freshman Bulldogs hosted Lansing Sexton on Thursday night. After a back and forth battle Ionia came out on top 50.- 48.

Leading the way for Ionia was Dawson Leland with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Nolan Hart added 14 points. Also scoring was Carter Ralston with 9 points, Riley Yokom added 5 points, and Caiden Sayers dropped in 2.

Ionia is set to enter the final week of their season with 3 tough games beginning on Monday night at home with a make- up game against Charlotte , they travel to Greenville on Tuesday night, and are at home against Dewitt on Thursday night for the final game of the year.
