Ionia defeated Lansing Eastern on the road on Tuesday night 70 -35. After a close first half the Bulldogs pulled away in the third quarter and holding the Quakers to just 12 points in the second half.

Ionia was led in scoring by Dawson Leland with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Carter Ralston and Riley Yokom both had nine points. Rounding out the scoring for Ionia was Nolan Perry with 8, Nolan Hart with 5, Mason Braman 5, Cole Peterson 4, Derrick Santana 4, Adam Kramer, Harper Duell and Kendall Cusack with 2 points each. Overaall, it was a very balanced night.

Ionia heads to Portland on Thursday night to take on the Red Raiders at 5:30.
