Ionia Freshman Basketball defeated Alma 50-44 in Ionia. Ionia lead at half 21-14. The Freshman Bulldogs played a strong 2nd Half to finish the season with only one home loss. The Bulldogs were lead by Tristin Ciganick - 11 pts, Caleb Shortz - 10 pts, Carter Starks - 6 pts, Wyatt Erridge, Braylon Granger and Gaven Elvert - 4 pts each, Christian Miller - 3 pts, Brent Starks, Jaxon Palmer, Charley Frost and Myles Perrien - 2 pts each. The Bulldogs finished the season 18-2.
