Ionia Freshman Basketball defeated Lansing Catholic 56-37 in Ionia. Ionia had the lead at half 26-25. Second half Ionia outscored Lansing 13-2 in the third-quarter to lock in the win for their last game of the C.A.A.C. Conference. The Bulldogs were lead by Brent Starks - 13 pts, Caleb Shortz - 8 pts, Tristin Ciganick - 5 pts, Braylon Granger, Jaxson Palmer and Tyson Brownell - 4 pts each, Ryan Lee, Carter Starks, and Myles Perrien - 3 pts each, Travier Tucker, Wyatt Erridge, Christian Miller and Charley Frost - 2 pts each. The Bulldogs play home against Newaygo on Tuesday Mar 1st at 4 PM. Bulldogs are now 16-2 on the season.
