Ionia Freshman Basketball defeated Lansing Sexton 44-40 in Lansing. Ionia had a one point lead going into half 16-15. Second half Sexton out scored Ionia by one to take the game into OT. Ionia took a quick lead into OT to bring home the victory. The Bulldogs were lead by Tristin Ciganick and Carter Starks - 10 pts each, Brent Starks - 6 pts, Wyatt Erridge - 5 pts, Braylon Granger - 4 pts, Caleb Shortz - 3 pts, Travier Tucker, Christian Miller and Tyson Brownell - 2 pts each. The Bulldogs play away against Ovid-Elsie on Tuesday Feb 22nd at 4 PM. Bulldogs are now 14-2 on the season.
