Ionia Freshman Basketball defeated Williamston 54-48 in Ionia. Ionia lead at half 29-22. Second half Ionia held held their composure at the last minute to seal the victory. The Bulldogs were lead by Brent Starks - 13 pts, Tyson Brownell and Wyatt Erridge - 8 pts each, Carter Starks - 6 pts, Tristin Ciganick, Caleb Shortz and Myles Perrien - 4 pts each, Christian Miller - 3 pts, Ryan Lee and Braylon Granger - 2 pts each. The Bulldogs play away against Charlotte on Thursday Feb 10th at 5:30 PM. Bulldogs are now 13-1 on the season.
