Ionia Freshmen Basketball defeated Lansing Catholic 53-40 at Lansing Catholic. Ionia lead at half 20-11, and managed to hold off the Cougars for a league win. The Bulldogs were lead by Brent Starks - 15 pts, Tristin Ciganick - 10 pts, Wyatt Erridge and Trevor Hodges - 6 pts each, Charles Frost - 5 pts,Gaven Elvert - 4 pts, Tyson Brownell - 3 pts, Braylon Granger and Caleb Shortz - 2 pts each. The Bulldogs play away against Mason on Tuesday Jan 25th at 4 PM. Bulldogs are now 9-1 on the season.
