Ionia Freshmen Basketball had its first loss on the season against Charlotte 43-39 in Ionia. Ionia lead the first half 19-16. The second half the bulldogs struggled to get the ball in the bucket. The Bulldogs were lead by Tristin Ciganick - 13 pts, Caleb Shortz - 8 pts, Carter Starks and Brent Starks - 6 pts each, Wyatt Erridge - 4 pts, Braylon Granger - 2 pts. The Bulldogs play at home against Lansing Sexton on Thursday Jan 13th at 5:30 PM. Bulldogs are 6-1 on the season.
