J.W. SEXTON HIGH SCHOOL: 53
IONIA Freshman basketball played away against Lansing Sexton and lost 50-53. The Bulldogs were down by 11 at half and fought hard to tie the game back up. The Bulldogs fell short at the end.
The Freshman were lead by Logan Brown 18 pts., Miles Gregory 9 pts., Austin Currigan 6 pts., Sam Eppler and Colter Clark each with 4 pts., Brendan Wood 3 pts., Devon Reyes, Aiden Hart, and Colyn Ciganick each had 2 pts.
The Bulldogs are 7-7 on the season and play home against Alma on Feb. 18th at 4:00PM.
