HASTINGS HIGH SCHOOL: 27
IONIA Freshman basketball played at home against Hastings and won 44-27. The Bulldogs lead at half time 17-13 and pulled away in the 3rd Quarter scoring 20 points. The Freshman were lead by Logan Brown with 11 points, Austin Currigan 8 pts, Miles Gregory with 7 pts, Sam Eppler 6 pts, Brett Peterson and Colyn Ciganick each with 3 pts, and Brendon Wood, Devon Reyes, Colter Clark each had 2 pts. The Bulldogs are 5-1 on the season and play home on Thursday Jan. 9th against Lansing Sexton at 5:30.
