Game Between Grand Ledge and Ionia Bulldogs Freshman Ends in a Tie
 

Grand Ledge and Ionia Bulldogs Freshman played to a 4-4 tie on Monday. Grand Ledge tied the game on a single in the sixth inning.

Grand Ledge got on the board in the first inning.

Bryce Hoppes led Ionia Bulldogs Freshman with two hits in four at bats.  Nolan Hart led Ionia Bulldogs Freshman with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.

Grand Ledge racked up eight hits in the game.  Baker and Williams all managed multiple hits for Grand Ledge.  Baker went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Grand Ledge in hits.  Grand Ledge tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Mckennon led the way with three.

The Bulldogs played tough tonight. The tie brings the young Bulldogs to 3-11-1.  The Bulldogs travel to Lakewood on Friday the May12th and the Saturday in Portland.
