Ionia JV Soccer loses to Grand Ledge Comets

Ionia JV soccer traveled to Grand Ledge tonight to play the Comets. Ionia was not able to get much going in this one as Grand Ledge had a deep roster and was able to make full team substitutions at will. Despite the numbers advantage Ionia was able to secure 1 goal on 1 shot by Marcos Velasco who had a beautiful shot from right outside the top of the 18 yard box that sailed over the Comets keeper into the goal. Unfortunately the Comets ended up winning the game 9-1 shortly after the second half started.

Ionia JV soccer is now 1-4-1 on the season and will next play their final game @Home vs Folwerville on Monday October 10th @5:30
