Ionia JV baseball ended their season tonight losing 2 games to Portland St Pats. Ionia lost the first game 1-7 and the second game 3-6. 

Teddy Sprank started on the mound for the Bulldogs. The lefty pitched a complete game going 4 innings giving up 7 runs (2 earned) on 7 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. 

Offensively the Bulldogs secured 3 hits in the game. Dawson Leland led the team with 1 double, while Mason Braman and Carter Ralston each had a single.

In the second game Carter Ralston got the nod on the mound. Ralston was able to last 4 innings giving up 6 runs (4 earned) on 8 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 4. Ethan Wenzel closed out the game throwing 1 inning giving up 0 runs on 0 hits while striking out 1. 

Ionia was able to secure 4 hits in this game with Paxton Melle leading the way with 1 double. Wenzel, Lopez, and Sandborn each collected singles on the night.
