Wyatt Erridge Drives in Four as Ionia JV Baseball Wins Over Lakewood Junior Varsity Vikings 11-2. Erridge drove in runs on a triple in the first, a double in the second, and a single in the fifth to lead Ionia JV Baseball past Lakewood JV Vikings.

Jaxson Palmer was on the hill for Ionia JV Baseball. Palmer went four innings, allowing two runs on one hit and striking out five.

Ionia JV Baseball racked up five hits.  Erridge and Gaven Elvert each had multiple hits for Ionia JV Baseball.  Erridge led Ionia JV Baseball with three hits in three at bats.  Elvert led Ionia JV Baseball with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.

Ionia JV Baseball Takes High-Scoring Game From Lakewood Junior Varsity Vikings, 14-8

Both pitching staffs had their hands full on Thursday in a high-scoring affair where Ionia JV Baseball bested Lakewood Junior Varsity Vikings, 14-8.

Carter Ralston led things off on the mound for Ionia JV Baseball. Ralston lasted two innings, allowing five hits and seven runs while striking out six.

 Ionia JV Baseball scored in the second inning when Christian Miller singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs and Carter Starks singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Ionia JV Baseball socked one home run on the day. Wyatt Erridge had the honors of sending a ball over the fence today in Ionia JV Baseball's first home run this season.

Ionia JV Baseball racked up five hits in the game.  Starks and Miller all managed multiple hits for Ionia JV Baseball.  Miller and Starks each collected two hits to lead Ionia JV Baseball.  Ionia JV Baseball tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Gaven Elvert led the way with three.

Ionia is now 18-5-1 on the season and will next play @home on Monday May 22nd @4:00pm vs East Lansing
