Trevor Hodges pitched in relief throwing 2 innings giving up 0 hits, 0 walks and 2 strikeouts. Ionia JV Baseball secured 17 hits in the high scoring affair with Colt Piercefield, Christian Miller, and Parker Seidleman leading the way with 3 hits each.  

In the second game Ionia JV Baseball defeated Hastings 15-0 as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Colt Piercefield struck out Kyle Jousma to finish off the game.
