A walk-off single led Ionia JV Baseball past Fowlerville Junior Varsity Gladiators 11-10 on Thursday.  Ionia JV Baseball trailed 10-9 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Nolan Lundstrom singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

Trevor Hodges went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Ionia JV Baseball in hits.  Ionia JV Baseball stole nine bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Carter Starks led the way with three.

Colt Piercefield was on the hill for Ionia JV Baseball. The righty went four and a third innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out ten.

Ionia JV lost to Fowlerville JV in the 2nd game 7-4 in 3 innings due to the game being called because of darkness. 

Hunter Roundtree and Wyatt Erridge both contributed doubles in the game, but Ionia’s bats started slow again and only collected 3 total hits in the 3 innings. 

Ionia JV is now 6-2 on the season and will look to play @home vs Carson City next Tuesday night April 18th @4:00pm
