Ionia JV Baseball lost the lead late in a 9-6 defeat to Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates JV on Tuesday.  The game was tied at five with Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates JV batting in the bottom of the fourth when Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates JV scored one run on a stolen base. Ionia JV Baseball lost despite out-hitting Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates JV four to one. Trevor Hodges led things off on the mound for Ionia JV Baseball. Hodges lasted three innings, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out five.  Parker Seidleman and Gaven Elvert entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and two-thirds innings and one-third of an inning respectively. Wyatt Erridge led Ionia JV Baseball with two hits in two at bats and Carter Starks contributed a double as well. 

Ionia JV Baseball coasted to an easy victory over Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates JV 12-4 on Tuesday. Ionia JV Baseball got things moving in the first inning, when Jaxson Palmer drew a walk, scoring one run. Parker Seidleman got the start for Ionia JV Baseball. The righty lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and one run while walking one. Ionia JV Baseball racked up 11 hits.  Wyatt Erridge, Colt Piercefield, and Christian Miller all had multiple hits for Ionia JV Baseball.  

Ionia JV Baseball is now 5-1 on the season and will look to play @Home vs Fowlerville on Thursday April 13th at 4:00pm.
