In the first game Ionia JV Baseball's two pitchers Wyatt Erridge and Trevor Hodges didn't allow a single hit tonight as Ionia JV Baseball defeated Belding JV 8-0. Erridge went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out four, while Trevor Hodges went three innings, allowing zero hits and striking out 6. Ionia JV Baseball secured the victory thanks to five runs in the second inning.  Carter Starks, Ryan Lee, Colt Piercefield, Jaxson Palmer, and Christian Miller powered the big inning with RBIs. Miller led Ionia JV Baseball with two hits in three at bats.  Starks led Ionia JV Baseball with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 12 stolen bases.

Christian Miller threw a shutout to lead Ionia JV Baseball past the Belding Black Knights in the second game. Miller lasted four innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out eight. Ionia JV Baseball secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the third inning.  Carter Starks, Gaven Elvert, Colt Piercefield, Nolan Lundstrom, and Christian Miller each drove in runs during the inning. Ionia JV Baseball racked up seven hits in the game.  Starks and Miller both managed multiple hits for Ionia JV Baseball.

Ionia JV Baseball is now 4-0 on the season and will next play @home vs Portland St Pats on Wednesday March 29th @4pm
