Ionia JV Baseball Overcomes Saranac RedHawks JV 14-6

Hodges led things off on the mound for Ionia JV Baseball. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out five.

Ionia JV Baseball saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game.  Colt Piercefield, Erridge, Hodges, and Roundtree all collected multiple hits for Ionia JV Baseball.  Piercefield led Ionia JV Baseball with three hits in four at bats.  Ionia JV Baseball tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Erridge led the way with four.

Ionia JV Baseball’s two pitchers didn't allow a single hit, as Ionia JV Baseball defeated Saranac RedHawks JV 11-4 on Thursday. Gaven Elvert induced a fly out from Lorcan McKibbin to get the last out of 

Ionia JV Baseball notched four runs in the third inning.  Ionia JV Baseball’s big inning was driven by an error on a ball put in play by Colt Piercefield and Carter Starks and a single by Elvert.

Parker Seidleman toed the rubber for Ionia JV Baseball. The righthander lasted two and a third innings, allowing zero hits and three runs while striking.

Starks led Ionia JV Baseball with two hits in three at bats.

Ionia JV Baseball is now 2-0 on the season and will next play against Belding @home on Monday March 27th at 4pm
