FOWLERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 4
Ionia JV Baseball won 13-4 in the first game vs Fowlerville. Will Anderson led the way defensively with 5 strikeouts and gave up 2 runs in 3 innings pitched. Garret Lee went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk while, Kolson Daugherty went 2-3 with 2 singles to lead the way offensively.
The nightcap was a closer match with the bulldogs winning 4-1. Lance Atkinson started on the mound giving up 1 run and striking out 4. Carter Castillo came in and got the save in the top of the 5th with 3 strikeouts. Offensively, Gage Flanner led the way with 2 singles and scoring once.
The Bulldogs are 3-0 on the season and will play at Pewamo Westphalia tomorrow, Saturday April 17th.
