Ionia's JV baseball team started the season at home with a 23-1 win over Portland St. Pats. Tyson McDiarmid led the way on the mound with 4 strikeouts and gave up 1 unearned run. Offensively, Lance Atkinson was 2-3 with double and Garrett Lee went 1-1 with a triple.
The bulldogs are 1-0 on the season and will play at Lansing Sexton, Tuesday April 13th.
