Girl’s Tennis v. Lansing Eastern High School
Home Match
The IHS girl’s tennis team had a GREAT start to the season yesterday!! Final score of the match was 7-1 for the good gals as well as going 1-0 at the JV level.
Leading the way was
Kate Brown at #1 singles 6-0, 6-0
Margaret Pischea at 2nd singles 6-0, 6-0
And Kennedee Ward 6-0, 6-0
Doubles swept all four flights being led by Caitlin McGuire and Riley Brown 6-0, 6-0
3 of our freshmen players made their varsity debut, Avelin McGuire, Tessa Lemke, and Audrey Wall, all with victories. We also had two freshmen make their debut at JV level. Congrats to JoAnna Platte and Camryn Robinson on a well deserved victory.
We are in action again on Monday the 27th at 4:15 vs. Lowell and would love to see you all out there
