Ionia girls varsity soccer was defeated by a very solid St. Johns team 5-0.

Kaylynn Doty had 13 saves in goal. Kylie Leonard played well on the outside and Isabelle Vasquez helped break up play after play. Tessa Masengale brought the physical play throughout the entirety of the game.

Ionia falls to 2-2 on the season. Their next game will be Tuesday April 16 at Portland with a 6:30 kickoff.
