HASTINGS HIGH SCHOOL: 7
The Ionia girls varsity soccer team played another tough game and defeated 7-0 by Hastings. Down 7-0 at halftime, we had to make some adjustments or go home early. The girls responded well in the second half and came together to hold even in the half.
Katie Leonard and Tessa Masengale both played well in the second half on the defensive side. Avery Haney played a well rounded game as well.
Ionia girls varsity soccer will be back on the road for another away game at Lansing Eastern on Monday, kickoff time 6:00.
