Ionia Girls Varsity Soccer was defeated by a score of 2-0 on Friday night.
We continue to improve every game and played a very strong game tonight. If we look where we were at in the beginning of the season to where we are at now, every single person has improved and we have greatly improved as a team.
Kara Kramer-Lake played in goal for us tonight and did a fantastic job. Avery Haney has really stepped up as a leader for us and continues to play really well in the middle of the field. Natalie Schafer has also played strong for us at outside mid, despite this being her first year in the program.
Ionia will face off against Charlotte Monday night with JV starting at 5:30 and Varsity at 7.
