Ionia Girls Varsity Soccer wins big against Carson City by a score of 8-0.
We have been improving every single game and things all came together tonight for us. We were able to string together lots of nice passes and control the entire field.
A trio of freshmen all scored their first career goals tonight, which included Tessa Masengale, Isabelle Vasquez, and Taylor Browne. Avery Haney and Kara Kramer each scored a goal and also added one assist of their own. Rylie Dinehart added two goals of her own, while Addyson Roundtree recorded two assists. Kelila Rustin added zero saves to her total on the year, but had a chance to come out of goal and scored her first career varsity goal.
Ionia will take on Lansing Catholic at home Monday night. JV starts at 5:30 with Varsity starting at 7.
