Ionia battled hard but was defeated by a score of 3-0 at Lakeview on Monday night.
We were down a lot of players today but the girls played hard and competed from staff to finish. Rylie Dinehart and Martina Sierra stepped up and played outside of their normal positions. Kara Kramer and Tessa Masangale put pressure on the defense all game but were unable to sneak a goal in.
Kelila Rustin dazzled with her performance again by recording 19 saves. Kelila has been a warrior in the goal all year long.
Ionia varsity will travel to Eaton Rapids on Thursday for a conference matchup at 7.
